New 2014 KIA Optima midsize sedan at the NYIAS

Kia introduced the new version, extensively renovated, its best-selling car, and the Optima midsize sedan.

Kia Motors America (KMA), one of the U.S. automakers fastest growing in the past five years, announced at the International Auto Show in New York (NYIAS) the new version, extensively renovated, in your car best seller, the Optima midsize sedan just three years ago, Kia was surprised the automotive world with the 2014 Kia Optima mid-sized, designed by Peter Schreyer, the Motor Show 2010 in New York. Since then, it has become Kia sales leader, selling more than 150,000 units last year, gaining worldwide recognition for its style, European design and driving pleasure. The 2014 Optima, manufactured in the USA at the Kia factory in West Point, Georgia, (KMMG), comes with updated design, front and back, thus maintaining its dynamic and sporty image original.

Available in versions LX, EX, SX and SX models limited, with new amenities outstanding - new high quality services and convenient options make the Optima a huge contender in the segment of mid-size sedans. Is expected to reach 2014 Kia Optima dealerships in the 3rd quarter of this year, and prices will be announced closer to the date of sale of the vehicle.

Improving an already iconic design
in the mid-size sedan segment long dominated by function rather than for convenience, the 2014 Kia Optima is strengthened as a pioneer in vehicle style at an affordable price.

The appearance and design of the Optima, made by Kia design team based in Frankfurt Germany, improves the front and rear of the vehicle and its front profile and recognized.
The aerodynamic shape and bold presence is further accentuated by the current front diffuser and rear trunk design. Further highlighting European style design, are in the front position lights LED lamps and LED lamps, LED lights along with emission light and the rear.

The new cabin redesigned 2014 Kia Optima, drivers have upgraded amenities and high-tech. By activating the start button also activates two screens: a screen 4.3-inch TFT LCD that displays the instrumental panel and optional 8-inch screen navigation and telematics, with -- services, an 8-speaker system Infinity sound, HD Radio, SiriusXM Radio SiriusXM Traffic Satellite. The new seat design ensures a comfortable ride in a sedan powerful and dynamic, with new optional blind spot detection (BSD and rear parking sensors for better comfort and safety.

Every 2014 Optima comes well equipped with a generous list of standard elements. The LX model offers a dual exhaust with chrome tips, solar glass, outside mirror signal indicators, front fog lights, heated outside mirrors, exterior door handles and chrome alloy wheels 16 inches, equipped with 205/65R16 tires and a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2014 Optima EX model offers larger alloy wheels 17 inch with 215/55R17 tires, leather seats, seat 8-way power adjustable driver and illuminated cup holders.

Turning to the SX model, consumers will find elegant polished alloy wheels 18-inch 225/45R18 tires, front and rear bumpers and lower side skirts, aerodynamic windshield and auto-leveling HID headlights. Reaching the top of the Limited version Optima see another level of refinement sport, adding exclusive chromed 18-inch wheels, new LED fog lights, red brake calipers, and electronic parking brake, side skirts with chrome accents, and seats Napa leather.

Propulsion System Dynamic and Efficient
the 2014 Kia Optima is available with two engines powerful Theta II gasoline direct injection (GDI), including a 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder or a 2.0-liter turbo GDI. A hybrid powertrain 2.4 - liter is also available. Each engine option is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission with clutch less Sportmatic.

Something new in the 2014 Optima SX exclusive sports  variant, is a method of driving integrated control that adjusts the shift points of the transmission and the weight of the steering, giving the driver an experience completely to your liking.
