How to Locate a Passkey on a BMW 525
1. Enable the devices Bluetooth. This is usually found under the Tools, Preferences or Options menu.
2. Press down on the vehicles center console controller and select Settings, Bluetooth from the menu.
3. Select Phone, Pair new phone, Start pairing from the subsequent options. The vehicles Bluetooth name is displayed onscreen to help with identification in the following steps.
4. Search for Bluetooth devices on your device. This is usually accomplished from the Bluetooth Options menu of the device.
5. Select the vehicle from the list of available devices.
6. Enter any passkey between one and sixteen digits on the phone and press OK. The passkey should be something easily remembered but not easily guessed.
7. Enter the exact same passkey entered on the device into the vehicles memory when prompted to do so. You must do this within 30 seconds.
